SwingSpace Membership Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all SwingSpace membership categories, including Eagle, Birdie and Junior Memberships (“Memberships”). By purchasing or using a Membership, members agree to be bound by these Terms.
- General Membership Overview
1.1 SwingSpace Memberships provide members with access to the SwingSpace facility (“Facility”) and the benefits described in each membership tier.
1.2 Membership benefits vary by tier and may be updated periodically. Any changes will be communicated via email or displayed on swingspace.in.
1.3 Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member.
2. Membership Payments & Billing
2.1 Memberships may be purchased on an annual or monthly basis.
2.2 Monthly memberships are paid upfront and are valid for 1 calendar month from the date of purchase.
2.3 Annual memberships are paid upfront and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
2.4 Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
2.5 SwingSpace reserves the right to modify pricing, with advance notice to members.
3. Booking & Facility Access
3.1 Members are encouraged to book bay time in advance to ensure availability.
3.2 Walk-in play is permitted but subject to bay availability at the time of arrival.
3.3 Bookings made by any customer—member or non-member—must be respected. Members cannot displace a paying customer with an existing booking.
3.4 Members must check in at reception before using any bay.
3.5 Junior members must follow all supervision requirements as specified by SwingSpace staff.
4. Guest Access
4.1 Guest allowances vary by membership type and are subject to bay availability.
4.2 Guests must comply with all SwingSpace rules and remain the member’s responsibility during the visit.
5. Coaching & Events
5.1 Coaching discounts and free sessions are offered as per each membership tier.
5.2 While coaches may offer brief pointers during play when they are free, this should be considered a courtesy and not a substitute for a booked coaching session.
5.3 Free sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to coach availability.
5.4 Birthday events included in some memberships must be booked at least 14 days in advance.
6. Member Conduct
6.1 Members must use the Facility safely and respectfully, following staff instructions at all times.
6.2 SwingSpace reserves the right to suspend or cancel a Membership without refund for behaviour that:
- Endangers others
- Damages equipment
- Is abusive or disruptive
- Violates these Terms
7. Fair Use Policy
The Fair Use Policy applies to all membership categories, including those offering “unlimited play.”
7.1 Bay Availability
- “Unlimited play” means members may use the Facility frequently, but not to the exclusion or detriment of other users.
- Members must not expect a bay to be available immediately upon arrival.
- If all bays are occupied—whether by members or non-members—the member must wait until a bay becomes available.
7.2 Booking Priority & Walk-In Use
- Priority booking benefits apply only when the member books in advance.
- Walk-in members cannot displace any customer with a confirmed booking.
- Bookings always take precedence over walk-in use, including for Eagle members.
7.3 Reasonable Usage
To keep things fair for everyone:
- Members may not occupy a bay for excessively long durations (e.g., multiple consecutive hours every day) without prior permission.
- SwingSpace may limit session lengths during busy periods.
- Members may be asked to vacate a bay if:
- Another customer has a confirmed booking, or
- A member is exceeding reasonable use during peak times.
7.4 Staff Discretion
SwingSpace staff have full authority to enforce the Fair Use Policy. Their decisions regarding bay allocation, waiting times and session limits are final.
8. Facility Rules
8.1 Food and beverages must be consumed only in designated areas.
8.2 Proper golf etiquette and safe use of all equipment is required at all times.
8.3 Members are responsible for the cost of any damage caused by negligent behaviour.
9. Suspension or Closure of Facility
9.1 SwingSpace may temporarily close bays or the entire venue for maintenance, private events or unforeseen circumstances.
9.2 Members will not be entitled to refunds for short-term closures, but SwingSpace may extend memberships or offer credits where appropriate.
10. Cancellation of Membership
10.1 Members may cancel at any time by contacting SwingSpace; notice periods apply (see Section 2) and refunds, if granted, will be pro-rated.
10.2 SwingSpace may cancel memberships if a member breaches these Terms or engages in inappropriate behaviour.
11. Liability
11.1 Members use the Facility at their own risk.
11.2 SwingSpace is not responsible for personal injuries arising from misuse of equipment or failure to follow staff instructions.
11.3 Members are advised not to bring valuables; SwingSpace is not liable for lost or stolen items.
